Classic Day Camp
Fun & Excitement Overnight

Classic Day Camp(Ages 5 to 12)

Our Classic Day Camp program gives each camper an opportunity to try all the different activities we offer at Cloverleaf Ranch. Each camper will be put into a group based on their age, and will participate in three 1-hour activities each morning with their group.

After lunch (which is provided by us), all campers will go to the pool, where they will have the opportunity to play water games, free swim or relax in the sun. Please note: due to the drought the access to the swimming hole is closed for the 2017 summer season.

During the afternoon we offer ‘Recreation Period’ where each camper will be presented with a number of different activities, and they get to choose which activity they want to participate in. We break for a snack at 3:00pm, followed by an all camp game such as Capture the Flag, Red Light Green Light, or Elbow Tag, just to name a few.

Throughout the week, each camper in our Classic Program will have the opportunity to take one riding lesson in the horse arena, go on a horse trail ride throughout our 160-acre rolling Sonoma County hills, and participate in Horse Care where the campers learn about horses and how to take care of them.

Extra riding lessons/trail rides can be added for an additional fee of $25 per lesson. The week culminates in an overnight campout on Thursday. On this day, campers will participate in Color Games, attend an afternoon Carnival, eat a Pasta Dinner, and head to our Deer Camp where the counselors host a campfire, complete with songs, skits, games, storytelling, and of course S’mores! In the morning, we provide a healthy breakfast and then head to the main Horse Arena for a Horse Show.

Every camper has the option of being in the horse show, which is a traditional competition where campers are given ribbons for horse skills and can participate in fun horse-related games and activities. Please click on the ‘Activities’ link above to see a full list of activities offered at Cloverleaf Ranch, as well as a few age requirements. Also, check out the ‘Sunday Orientation’ link above, which will give each camper an opportunity to meet their counselor and let us know of any special needs or preferences for your child.
